Discover Amazake: The Sweet Fermented Rice Drink

🥣 The Gentle Sweetness Born from Fermentation

What is Amazake??

Amazake is a traditional Japanese fermented rice drink made with koji (rice malt).

It’s naturally sweet — no sugar added, no alcohol — just the power of fermentation.

Made only from rice, koji, and water, our amazake is rich in enzymes and amino acids that gently nourish your body and mind.

🌾 Two Types of Amazake

There are two main kinds of amazake in Japan:

① Rice Koji Amazake (Life Koji’s Style)

  • Made from rice and koji fermentation
  • Non-alcoholic, sugar-free, gluten-free
  • Naturally sweet and gentle for all ages

② Sake Lees (kasu)Amazake

  • Made by mixing sake lees with hot water and sugar
  • May contain a small amount of alcohol
  • Has a stronger aroma and deeper flavor

💛 Life Koji Amazake is 100% Rice-Koji type.
